New paper on N. Atlantic anthropogenic carbon uptake
In Global Biogeochemical Cycles, Sean Ridge (PhD 2020) and Professor McKinley show that there is a subsurface supply of low anthropogenic carbon waters from low latitudes to the subpolar North Atlantic. Deep mixing exposes these waters and drives anthropogenic carbon uptake. Read more in the full article in GBC.
